Violist Bridget Kinneary is building an exciting, versatile career in music. As an educator, she has been a practice mentor for the Eastman Community Music School, conducted the Rochester All-City Fundamental String Orchestra, and served as president of Eastman’s chapter of NAfME. As a violist, Bridget has performed with The Eastman Philharmonia, The Sound Exchange Project, and the Texas Music Festival Orchestra. A passionate leader in the arts, Bridget has been an administrative intern for the Sun Valley Summer Symphony, American Festival for the Arts, and the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra in Houston. She has given presentations for the Texas Music Educators Association and From the Top about preparing for and making the most of conservatory education. Bridget studies at the Eastman School of Music, where she anticipates graduating in December 2015 with a Bachelors in Music Education and Performance, a certificate in Arts Leadership, and a minor in German. She has studied abroad in Berlin and Freiburg, Germany.
